Who we are

To make sure the care and supervision we provide your children with is second to none, Camp Australia put us through a number of training courses; and our Service Coordinator holds First Aid & Food Handling qualifications. To make sure we keep getting better, our Coordinator also attends Professional Development Days each term!

Hours of operation

After School Care       3:15pm – 6:00pm

Interested in using the service - Next Steps…

All families that wish to use the Service must complete the Online Enrolment process on the Camp Australia website in full prior to utilising the Service. This is to ensure that we have the correct child and guardian information, are notified of any medical or development needs, know your booking choices, payment details and Child Care Benefit information. To enrol:

  1. Visit the Camp Australia website at to register for an Account
  2. Follow the Online Enrolment process and complete all information specifically, any necessary Medical Management, Medical Plans or Medication Records
  3. Provide Direct Debit information
  4. Review the Enrolment Confirmation we send you to confirm your details are correct

When completing your enrolment details, you will indicate what type of booking you need to make. At Camp Australia we have two types of bookings:

Permanent Booking: These bookings are made as 1 session or more per week for an entire term. Permanent bookings will automatically carry over until notification of a change is received by our Customer Service Team.

Causal Booking: These bookings can be made right up to the session commencement time. The Casual Booking fee attracts an additional cost on top of the Permanent Fee, as we will need to arrange for additional food, resources and potentially staff.

Cancellations need to be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled date of attendance at the Service to avoid incurring the full session fee. We need this notice to make sure we plan the staff rosters accordingly and also to avoid wastage of food.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will incur the full fee of the booked session, and will be deemed as an Allowable Absence. In accordance with Camp Australia policy and in line Government Regulations, a Doctors Certificate will not be accepted as a reason for non-payment of a booked session.

If you do need to cancel your child/children’s attendance for a Service, please let us know – that way we are sure your child is safe. Cancellations need to be made by the Parent or Guardian, not by the child.

Collection of children

We hold the safety of your children as the number one priority, therefore we require all children to be signed in and out of each session by an authorised adult. Children can only be collected by people authorised and nominated on the Enrolment Form. Any variation to this must be provided in writing to the Coordinator at the Service.

Program Costs

Casual Rates apply for parents who need care every so often and do not meet the minimums above.

Payment: Accounts will be issued to you on a fortnightly basis in arrears, to the address nominated by you on your Enrolment Form. Method of payment is by automatic Direct Debit from either your nominated Bank Account or Credit Card.

Child Care Subsidy

To help OSHC become more affordable for you, Camp Australia encourages you to apply for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to determine whether you’re eligible. CCS is financial assistance from the Government designed to reduce the overall cost of child care.

To find out if you are eligible, simply log into MyGov and complete your Child Care Subsidy Assessment. You will receive a notification from Centrelink if your claim has been assessed or approved.

From there ensure that:

Your children’s details are correct in Camp Australia's systems (particularly their date of birth and individual CRNs). We have the details of the contact or parent claiming the subsidy. Then simply review and confirm your enrolments via MyGov.

Call the Camp Australia customer care team if you need more information: 1300 105 343

Program and Activities

Your OSHC Program is designed by us, with input from the children and parents! Our program philosophy is focused on “active and passive” activity as well as skill development and general play. Based on this we deliver a number of activities including art & crafts, cooking, dance & drama, outdoor games & challenges and sport. We also encourage homework and quiet activities before home time with family. Our number one goal is to ensure every experience is FUNQUALITYENGAGING and SAFE!

To ensure the children get off to the best start for the day, we provide a healthy and nutritious breakfast to make the body and mind perform at its best! Breakfast is typically made up of muffins, toast, crumpets and a selection of cereals. Milk and water are available to drink.

We also provide the children with a healthy and nutritious snack and refreshing drink on arrival at the Service each afternoon…making sure they’ve got lots of energy to have FUN! Afternoon tea follows the Smart Choices food strategy; this includes a serving of fresh fruit and vegetables every afternoon. Examples of the food provided include; a selection of sandwiches, dry biscuits, or rice crackers with various toppings, and water is the preferred drink.

To make sure you know what is coming up in our Program, and to give every child the opportunity to join in the FUN, we publish our OSHC news and upcoming activities in the school newsletter – so keep your eye out for it!
